Benjamin "Ben" R. Vest

I first met Ben when he came to CA with his Mother to see Cal Poly SLO but they first made a stop at her sorority reunion in San Diego. I remember being introduced to him and his smile lit up the room. He joined in the conversations with all his mom's friends and even went on a "burrito run" with us. We all walked away from meeting him with the impression he was a very sincere person. I was also able to share Thanksgiving with him these last two years. I enjoyed hearing about his skiing and hiking in the area. He will be missed at future gatherings but I will always remember his smile.
