Linda J Dyson

Linda Caplan Dyson June 8, 1942/23 Sivan 5702- Jan. 12, 2023/19 Tevet 5783 Linda Caplan Dyson, 80, of Fishers, IN, formerly of Anderson, IN, passed away Thursday Jan. 12, 2023. She was born June 8, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Benjamin Henry Caplan and Helen Sonnebaum Caplan. She was married on Jan. 18, 1963 to Robert Bonner Dyson, Jr. In addition to Robert, Linda is mourned by daughter and son-in-law Robin and Leonard Gurin, grandchildren Ben and Myra Gurin, Aaron Gurin, and Manasi Goel, and great-granddaughter Eleanor Gurin. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Carmel, IN and Temple Beth El in Muncie, IN. Her family describes her as small but mighty, and fiercely protective of her family. She loved playing pool and doing puzzles with her grandchildren, a good soft pretzel, and fireworks on the 4th of July. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Caplan Dyson scholarship of Indiana University’s Borns Jewish Studies Program.
