Dr. Fabian was my dentist but I always thought of him as a dear, sweet friend. I will miss his common sense "take" on things and his warm greetings and goodbyes. RIP Roman.

I worked for you in my 20’s and I remained a patient the last 45 years. In my opinion, you were the best dentist there was. I never wanted to go to anyone else and I always told you that. I miss you, Dr Fabian. It’s hard for me to believe that you’re no longer with us. I wish we had more time together, but I guess I will see you one day again. I love you. Michele Birch

We met Roman through a good friend at a gathering many years ago. He was such a kind and interesting man and I knew I wanted him to become my dentist. Not only was he an excellent dentist for us but we really enjoyed our visits with him as we often caught up on world events and the things going on in our lives. Cheryl and I dearly miss him. Such a kind caring person. God bless you Roman.

Roman, I miss you really quite a lot and I wish we would have spent more time together. You're a wonderful person and I'm proud to say that you're my cousin. Thank you for being in my life for as long as you were alive. I will think of you often.

Dr. Roman Fabian was my dentist for more than 35 years, but he was so much more than that to me. He graduated from dental school the year I was born, and from the time I was young, he became someone I trusted completely. My dental history has not been simple. Broken teeth from a car accident decades ago, TMJ, crowns, root canals, extractions, and the ongoing challenge that I metabolize numbing medication very quickly. Through every procedure, he was patient, gentle, and incredibly attentive. He always listened. He always adjusted. He always made sure I felt safe. Ironically, we had only recently finished a long list of dental work that covered two full pages. It had taken years of trust and commitment to work through it all together. I am so grateful we did. His office became a place of comfort for me. I can remember falling asleep in his chair more than once while the drill was running. That kind of trust does not happen by accident. It happens because someone shows up consistently, with kindness and skill, year after year. He treated me not just as a patient, but as a person and a fellow business owner. We shared conversations about life, about work, and about my dad, who also spent many hours in his chair over the decades. Those shared memories will always be special to me. I also admired his love of teaching and mentoring future dentists through his work at UCLA. He cared deeply about passing on his knowledge, and that generosity reflected who he was at his core. I will miss his gentle touch, his calm reassurance, and the warmth of the team he built around him. Thank you, Dr. Fabian, for caring for my family and me for so many years. You were a steady, trusted presence in my life, and you will be deeply missed.
