Catherine Theresa Shain

 

 

Catherine Theresa Shain Teeter,  nee' Burns passed away on April 28, 2026. Cathy was one of 6 children born to Robert and Patricia Burns on November 11, 1961 in Los Angeles, Queen of Angels Hospital. She resided in Creswell Oregon.

Cathy graduated from Pioneer high school in San Jose, Ca. And attended University of Kentucky, graduated 1983.

 

 

Surviving are Patricia Burns, mother.  Siblings: Diana Mcgregor and Kelly McGregor, Steve Burns and Maggi Burns, Bill Burns and Jill Burns, Danny Burns, and Anna Burns. Her children Ryan Shain and Ashley Shain. Her nieces and nephews, Chris Woodham, Sherri Rellosa, Kellyann Mcgregor, Danielle Simpson, Katie Mcgregor, Sean Burns, Philip Burns, Brandi Thomas, Justin Sebring, Courtney Kersey, Lauren Krzyzostaniak, Cassandra Burns, Josh Burns, Nate Burns, Zaria Rose, and Isabella.

 

Cathy's life was full of laughter and lots of love to give. She was a very gregarious and generous person. She treasured the time she spent with her family through the years.  Cathy will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, gentle spirit, and unwavering support for those she loved. Cathy's loving family and friends will miss her deeply.
