So very sorry for this tragic loss. Karen was a very talented and special woman. I knew her from Valley Beth Israel and Heschel Day School. May her memory always be for a blessing.

I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of our beloved Karen. Words feel so small in the face of such a profound loss, but I hope this note brings a measure of comfort and a reflection of the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She was truly one of the most gracious, giving, and caring souls I’ve ever known. As a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and loyal friend, she gave of herself endlessly—her heart always open, her hands always ready to help. Her presence was a gift to everyone who knew her. Her dedication to the Jewish community and her countless hours of volunteer work were a testament to her selflessness and unwavering compassion. She lived her life in service to others, quietly and humbly, never seeking praise—only seeking to uplift those around her. She was a shining light, illuminating the lives of her family and community with warmth, wisdom, and love. Though her time here was far too short, her spirit continues to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. May her memory be a blessing, and may you find peace in the love she gave so freely and the legacy she leaves behind. With heartfelt sympathy and love, Marty Melnick

I met Karen through Michael and Donna Wilhoit who live next door. I would often get an opportunity to visit Karen. She was one of the most giving and loving people I have ever met. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She gave her all to everyone else.

Karen was embodied with spirit of heart and soul. She was an individual of determination, tenacity, fortitude, loved life and laughter. She faced grave physical challenges with courage and won. Since she was a toddler, Karen loved dance and as an adult she shared this love with the community. If you needed something done, Karen would handle the details. She loved planning get together at her home. Karen was definitely a people person. She was so dedicated to the well-being of every member of her family making sure every "i" was dotted and every "T" was crossed. Karen adored her children, grandchildren, mother and husband. Yes, Karen lived life and lived it every hour of every day. May you always rest in peace and be a sweet memory to me. Renee Abrams Yes, Karen loved life and lived it every hour of everyday.
