Erik Lomis

Erik Lomis   11/21/1958 – 3/22/2023   Erik Lomis was a force unlike any other.  His infectious sense of humor, passion for life, love of movies and sports (particularly for his Philadelphia Eagles!), bountiful spirit and big, charming heart touched everyone he met.  An icon in the film business, Erik’s unrivaled skill at theatrical distribution strategy made him the unofficial industry consigliere to his peers, filmmakers and journalists who respected his expert box-office insight and vast institutional knowledge.    Erik’s loyalty and unwavering generosity made him an extraordinary human being; he was a dedicated philanthropist whose fierce and tireless tenacity helped to raise millions of dollars over the years for the Will Rogers Motional Picture Pioneers Foundation. Erik was also a beloved husband, father, friend, and mentor.
