Naum Tsyrlin

On Monday, December 19, 2022, we lost Naum Tsyrlin, Gela’s father, and my father-in-law at the age of 89. He suffered a stroke and passed quickly surrounded by close family.  He completed his purpose here in this world shortly after the passing of his wife, Gela’s mom,  Faina Tsyrlina, and my father Boris Katrikh.  They always enjoyed each other’s company so much; they could not live without one another. Naum was a man of great character, strong, noble, loyal, loving, and humble.  He was a brilliant engineer in the USSR and helped build factories across the Soviet Union, Asia, and Cuba.  He enjoyed his retirement years in the great USA. Most of his time was dedicated to his favorite grandson David, traveling the world, reading, following world politics, and watching soccer. Naum Tsyrlin will be missed by Gela and me, His favorite nephew Alex Pesin, The entire Pesin and Katrikh families, extended family around the world, and many many friends. Naum Tsyrlin will be put to rest next to the love of his life Faina Tsyrlina in Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills at 2 PM on Friday, December 23.
