I'm sorry that I did not know about Ron's passing away until today, when I saw a mutual friend of his and asked about him. That's when I was told that Ron had passed away several months ago. I suspected that he had passed away as he told me that he was sick. Ron and I had been friends through Goebel Senior Center bridge. He shared Bridge magazines with me, and I shared Chess magazines with him, and he was also a very good chess player. I had missed him, knew he wasn't well, and had talked to him on the phone a few times, then hadn't heard from him and ... the last time I emailed him was in August, 2025 but he never returned the email. He was a good friend and I missed him.
