Yefim Kulik
December 12th, 1951 - August 15th, 2026
December 12th, 1951 - August 15th, 2026
Yefim Kulik, known to everyone who loved him as “Fima,” a beloved husband, father, and brother, took his final bow on August 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy as rich and colorful as his personality. Born on December 12, 1951, Fima was a man who believed life should be lived unapologetically and joyfully, channeling his inner comedian to lighten every room he entered.
Fima’s quick wit and kind-hearted nature delighted his family — Helen, his devoted wife; Alex, his proud son; Julia, his beloved daughter who passed away recently; and Michael, his brother. His family shared countless moments of laughter, love, and memories with him. Whether he was telling a lighthearted joke, sharing a story, or simply being himself, Fima had a special knack for making people feel at ease. His authentic warmth, spirited humor, and unmistakable personality left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Fima’s life was marked by loyalty, honesty, and an unwavering devotion to the people he loved. He was not only a wonderful family man, but also a friend whom people could always count on. His considerate nature ensured that he was there when someone needed a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply someone to make them laugh.
We invite family and friends to celebrate the life of this remarkable man at the Memorial Service for Yefim “Fima” Kulik on August 30, 2026, at the MS Chapel in Hollywood Hills. We will gather at 2:00 PM to remember his joy-filled life, share stories, and perhaps even tell a few of Fima’s famous jokes that made us all laugh — because that’s precisely what he would have wanted.
Fima will be profoundly missed, but his laughter, his stories, and his unmistakable spirit will remain with all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. We take comfort in imagining that he is now reunited with Julia, his beloved daughter, and that perhaps the two of them are already laughing together again.
Though he has embarked on another grand adventure, his presence will continue to live on through the people he loved and the memories he left behind.
He was Fima to everyone who knew him — and he will always be Fima to everyone who loved him.
