Rabbi Laibson

Rabbi Laibson was a counselor and song leader when I was a camper and CIT at Camp Swig. We subsequently spent parts of summers together at Camp Swig/ Newman, when I was a camper and doctor and our children were campers and staff. He was an inspiration and example of gentleness and kindness, and a spiritual guide to me and my family all those years. He joyfully volunteered to help the camp infirmary staff do our camper check-ins on day 1 of each session, welcoming and entertaining all. He was the Rabbi that I always hoped would be at camp the same time that I was, and I will treasure our time together. Our family sends heartfelt condolences to his family.
