Andrea J Berman

September 29th, 1976 - March 26th, 2023

September 29th, 1976 - March 26th, 2023

Andrea Joy Berman (née Marblestone) (Sept 29th, 1976 to Mar 26th, 2023) of Encino, California, left this life on Sunday evening at the age of 46. She leaves behind her adoring husband, Richard Berman, and their twins, Kai and Naya Berman. Andrea was born in Rochester, NY, but grew up outside Philadelphia in Langhorne, PA. She is survived by her parents, Laura and Ken Marblestone and her younger brother, Jeff Marblestone (Stephanie). After graduating from University of Massachusetts studying dance and psychology, she moved to Chicago and eventually landed in California in 2000 where she danced in a professional dance company for approximately 10 years until she had children. Besides being a makeup artist to the stars, her other passion was saving lives as an Infant Survival Swim Instructor through her business, LA Water Babies, which she ran for 11 years. She married the love of her life, Richard, in 2008 and together they started a family in 2010. Andrea was vivacious, selfless, and authentic - the best of women. The epitome of grace! She loved to dance, to put paint to canvas, and marvel at the best part of her... her children. Whether it was exploring Africa on horse safari, jumping off the highest bungy jump in the world or sitting on the couch with her favorite people watching her favorite chick-flicks, she was an extraordinary presence in every way. She masterfully maneuvered the beauty of parenthood, friendship and partnership. Andrea was one of the participants in my first-ever \"Mom\'n Tot Gym\" class at the JCC. A wonderful child, she an three others (Chad Lerner, Andrea Lewis and Sarah Heller) made a pillow for me that still to this day sits on my bedroom dresser...each child had a 1?4 of the surface to draw a picture on it. I am stunned and saddened to learn (very belatedly) of her passing. Her memory will always be for a blessing. May all who survive her know that she still brings joysssss to those who\'s life she touched 45 years ago.
