Richard “Dick” Volpert, beloved husband of Marcia Volpert, passed away on Saturday, April 19 at age 90. Dick was a pillar of our community, known for his keen intellect, integrity and philanthropy. As a leading real estate lawyer of his generation, his love of negotiating complex real estate deals was matched by his commitment to engaging in the broader world. Among many leadership roles, he chaired the Jewish Community Relations Committee, American Jewish Committee LA, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

His professional achievements were only surpassed by his personal ones. His admitted proudest accomplishments being his 70-year love affair with Marcia, his children, Barry (Teri) Volpert, Sandy (Gayle) Volpert, Linda (Larry) Gross and Nancy Volpert along with his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 3 pm at Mt Sinai Memorial Park, 5950 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068
