Recuerdos

Tom Lindauer, 86, of Beverly Hills, California, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025.

Born in Munich, Germany on November 16, 1938 to Erna and Max Lindauer, Tom made his way to California, where he built a life he loved. A longtime owner of a women’s clothing store and later an investor, Tom had a sharp mind and an easy sense of humor. He was also a supporter of People Assisting the Homeless (PATH).

Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriet (Hershberg) Lindauer. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Dardick; his step-sons, Greg Gottlieb and Randy Gottlieb (Katie); and grandchildren Lee, Francie, and DJ who affectionately knew him as “Papa Tom.” He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Marsha Weintraub (Stuart Hellman) and extended family and friends.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 25, 2025, at Temple Emanuel, 300 N. Clark Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90211.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory may be made to People Assisting the Homeless (epath.org) or Temple Emanuel (tebh.org).

Tom, you will never be forgotten, and I pray you are now at peace and will reconnect with our loved ones who have gone before us.
