William F. Glazer

May 19th, 1947 - December 4th, 2023

May 19th, 1947 - December 4th, 2023

It is with immense sadness and a heavy heart that the family of William (Bill) Glazer announces his passing.   Bill, beloved son of the late Helen Stern and Harry Glazer passed away peacefully in his home on December 4, 2023 after a heroic battle with Parkinson’s Disease.   He was a dearest brother and brother-in-law of Herb and Penney, and Jerry and Beverly. Cherished, adored, and loving uncle to Stacey, Howard, Stephanie and Jessica. Proud great uncle to Ella Rose, and Harley Zentner. Bill also leaves behind his longtime companion Normand Duplessis, and many cousins and close friends who will surely miss his warm smile and always kind words.   Born in The Bronx, N.Y., Bill moved to Montreal with his parents in 1962. His fashion business brought him to Los Angeles in 1980. He was the kindest human with a heart of gold. His wisdom and calmness were felt by everyone who was lucky enough to spend time with him, whether it was sharing a meal, sharing a trip to the museum, or watching a movie. He loved art and fashion and could talk, look at, and read about them for hours. His friendly demeanor and his wise soul (and silly sense of humor) brought meaning into the lives of everyone he knew. He will be missed by so many.   Donations can be made in Bills name to ‘Parkinson’s Foundation’.   Funeral Services: Thursday Dec. 7 @ 2:30pm PST-Mount Sinai Hollywood Hills, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068
