Edith Dunlap

“Beloved wife of Edwin W. Dunlap, Edith L. Dunlap passed away on 25 March 2023. Known as Edy by family and friends, she was a force of nature and of education. She was born to Harry and Chana Lieberman on 16 April 1933 and ended up making strides in her future education journey . Graduating from Cal State LA with a BA in Anthropology 17 March 1973 and a M.Ed in Education and Computer Education 22 March 1997, she positively impacted each and every student she garnered over her 27 year career as a teacher within Los Angeles. She had a loving partnership and marriage with Edwin W. Dunlap for over 40 years, they ended up having numerous adventures and animals within this lifetime of care and love. She was loved tremendously, brightened a room with her smile and educated anyone around.”
