Elliott Sklar, 1937 - 2026, Devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather

Elliott Sklar passed away of natural causes on June 9, 2026, at the age of 88. He is survived by his adoring wife, Naomi; his three children, Lauri, Howard (Leslie Felton), and Stephanie (Jonathon Wolfson); nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born on July 21, 1937, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, to Fay (Reimer) and Herman Sklar. Elliott is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and New York University. He was known for his charisma, sharp wit, and his strong and lasting friendships. He will forever be remembered by his loved ones as a caring man who always knew the right thing to say. In his leisure time and retirement, he enjoyed golf (especially with his grandsons), travel, good Italian food, and above all, time with everyone in his family.

Before becoming a successful businessman, Elliott served in the US Army Medical Corps. Over the course of his career, he operated several businesses in the manufacturing and consumer goods sectors. Because of his career, his family relocated several times to Boston, Chicago, and Memphis. Following retirement, he resided in Florida and then Southern California.

He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.
