Michael T. Sherman
Good afternoon my name is Michael Sherman I am Jerry Sherman’s oldest son and I just wanted to say a few things about my dad. First, just how grateful I am that dad came into my life, he took me in when no one else would and gave me a home and with that a life, he would often say how lucky he was to have a son like me but I was the lucky one. My dad showed me what unconditional love is, by never giving up on me ever and believe me I put him to the test a lot. He would always say how proud he was of me in anything I did I have never wondered if he loved me, he told me every time we talked or texted, I have always just known it. My dad has always been just a call away for any reason if I needed help or just had a question or just to say hi. I have learned a lot from him as well like working hard for what you want, being there for your friends and family and always doing the right thing especially when it’s hard. My dad helped form me into the man I am today and as I deal with this staggering loss and grief; I am grateful for his love and the time I had with him As my dad would say “with gods help” (WGH) I will get through it. I would also like to thank my Uncle Sid and my brother Justin for there love and support as we all get through this together. Thank you.
