Josephine Durrie

Josephine (Josie) Durrie (1934 - 2024) was born in Casablanca, Morocco  on May 31, 1934, and passed away in the morning of July 3, 2024 in Los Angeles. Josie was a mother to Miriam, Freddie, and the late Dan Durrie, former wife to Jeff, grandmother to Dani and Sammy, and mother-In-law to Aaron and Jonathan. She was a beloved sister and tata, and a friend to many. Josie was best know for her capacity to love and nurturing nature to all. When you got close to Josie, you had an outspoken friend for life. Josie cared for her children and encouraged them to be great at what they loved. She was known for her exquisite cuisine and love for entertaining. Josie loved having family and friends around her, and she would give up her bed just to spend more time with you. Josie’s legacy lives on through family, friends, and all who’s heart she touched. Long live Josie’s memory.
