Anthony E. Aaronson
January 10th, 1937 - December 24th, 2023
January 10th, 1937 - December 24th, 2023
Anthony Eli Aaronson, also known as Tony, passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 86 in Thousand Oaks, CA.
Eminently lovable, Tony’s warmth, humor and abundant charisma was admired by all who knew him. He was a one-of-a-kind gentleman, possessing a unique fashion sense that endeared him to anyone he met. He could make friends anywhere, and he had a special way of lighting up the room - filling it with laughter and love.
Born in Oxford, Massachusetts, Tony graduated Worcester Academy and Clark University and moved to Los Angeles when he was 24. After a successful career as a textile representative, he received his MBA at Pepperdine University and later served as associate dean of executive programs there. In addition, he contributed his business expertise to the boards of the First Australia Fund and several other publicly traded international companies. One of Tony’s biggest passions was tennis. After being captain of his college team, he played in many tournaments throughout his life, and when not on the court, you could often find him travelling, frequenting the latest upscale restaurant, driving his sports car or spending time with his family and dogs.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Judy Aaronson, his sons Spencer and Evan Aaronson, his grandchildren Rayce, Eisley, Carine, Cayden and Maple, his sister Henrietta Keilly, his brother Mark Aaronson, his daughters-in-law Lillian Aaronson and Britt Aaronson, his stepchildren David Benveniste, Bobby Benveniste and Alexis Dallinger and his step grandchildren, Beau and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his father Cecil Aaronson, his mother Sylvia Aaronson, his son Craig Aaronson, and his brother Richard Aaronson.
