When was a time Benjamin made you laugh?
So I was told that any stories I have should be put here. Ben sat infant of me in my latin class and he was so much fun. We would all be sitting in our chairs using the top of the table, but he would be under the table writing on the opposite side. He was always jumping around everywhere and was so happy. During latin convention he wanted to send a video of him "being silly" to my dad so I told him I would record him and send it to dad. This might not be important but the last text he sent to any of our friends was a photo of a horrifying snail. (shown below) After everything happened his locker was decorated with his signature style, colorful with a cowboy hat. I will send more and I will print out all my photos and have my dad give them you the family.

I had English class with Ben in 9th grade and he was always the first person to get to class, the first person to get back from break during doubles (if he left the class at all), and would raise his hand to participate every chance he got. As someone who struggles to speak in front of a class I have always admired how confident he was when speaking, whether it was just the two of us or in front of the class during a student lead discussion. He would talk with our teacher before or after class about life and this encouraged me to open up and be more comfortable around my teacher, even though she was new and I didn't know her very well. I am incredibly grateful for every moment I got to share with Ben and hope he is flying high.

I went to camp with Ben and although I didn’t hang out with him the most, let me tell you, he was one of the best people I’ve ever met. He was in my cabin one year and he was just such a wholesome guy. I loved going horseback riding with him and I’ll really miss that. I loved his story he always told at boy’s initiation and camp won’t be the same without him. I miss him so much and hope he’s at peace.
