David Stuart Rosen
May 30th, 1941 - September 2nd, 2024
May 30th, 1941 - September 2nd, 2024
David was born on May 30th, 1941 to Faye and Albert Rosen in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 6, David and his family moved from Illinois to Miami, Florida. In 1959, after graduating from Miami Senior High School, David went on to study business at the University of Miami, before receiving a law degree there as well. Go hurricanes!
After graduating from law school, David and his first wife, Lois Glantz Rosen, drove with a pet bird from Miami to Los Angeles. He very briefly worked as an attorney until he realized his passion for real estate. David began by buying and renting out houses and then moved on to apartment buildings. While in Los Angeles, David and Lois had Sharon, Michael and Kenneth. After the couple parted ways, David then married Cindy Lane and welcomed daughters Kristie and Tracy.
In 1990 David married Khristeena Brock and welcomed their three children Montana, Dakota and Indiana. The couple spent 36 years together, filled with laughter, love and incredible memories. He is survived by his eight children, wife, and four grandchildren Satori, Bodhi, Rachel and Natalie.
David was a man of integrity, charm and humor. He made everyone around him feel like his closest friend and made sure all of those dearest to him were well taken care of.
Services will be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park on September 5th at 12:00pm PT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Smile, an organization that David felt passionate about.

Dear Michael and Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t have the honor of knowing your father, I can see the impact he had through the strength and kindness you show every day. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing, and may you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared. With deepest sympathies, Arthur Wellten
