Like a well-loved song carried across many seasons, the life of Marlene Levy Abrams leaves its echo behind. Marlene Levy Abrams died on September 15, 2026, in Temecula, California, United States, at the age of 90. She was born on May 22, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

From her early years in Philadelphia, her path led west, where she made her life in Southern California. There, Marlene helped build a life shaped by devotion and steady purpose. She first worked alongside her husband in helping build his company, Temar Communications. In later years, she devoted much of her professional life to the Jewish Federation in Los Angeles, where her commitment and service left a lasting mark.

The story of her life is also held in the names of those who were part of it. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Levy and Rose Paiskowitz Levy; her husband, Ted Abrams; and her son, Fredric “Rick” Abrams.

Her memory remains with her daughter, Denise English, and son-in-law, Joe English, as well as with her five grandchildren: Celina Abrams, Charlie Abrams, Dylan Abrams, Lily English, and Joshua English.

Through work, family, and the years she shaped with quiet dedication, Marlene built a life of meaning. She will be remembered for the love she held for her family and friends, and for the enduring impression of a life carefully and faithfully made. May her memory rest gently in the hearts of all who carry it forward.
