Carol Alpert passed away on 4/23/23. She is survived by her daughter Julie Weinstein, who is married to Garrett Weinstein, grandson Raphael age 6 years, and granddaughter Hannah age 2 years. Carol was born in Los Angeles on 8/22/1940 to parents Anne and Leo Ladon. She attended college at UCLA and went on to teach High School English and History for several years in the San Fernando Valley. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, and the arts. She encouraged her family to keep a strong connection to and participate in the Jewish community.
