Beverly Brody

On July 4, 2022, Beverly (Dresser) Brody passed away peacefully with her children by her side. Beverly was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Brody, cherished mother of Hal Brody (Harriett Greenbaum) and Susan (Edward) Berges, devoted sister to the late Martha Gordon and Helen Jacob, loving grandmother of Eva Berges (Ezequiel Aizenberg), James Berges and Danielle Brody, loving great grandmother to Eloisa and Emanuela Aizenberg. Beverly was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 3, 1928, where she attended Marshall High School. After she was married and had children, she went back to school and earned her teaching credential, and later a Master’s degree in Special Education. She worked for the Chicago school district  and after her move to California in 1980 to be closer to her children, she taught at San Gabriel Unified. Beverly had the gift of making everyone she came in contact with feel loved, understood, and appreciated. She was intelligent, fun, energetic and uncomplaining. She was a source of joy and uplift and comfort for all who knew her, and she will be sorely missed.
