Eleanor Goldberg (Toll), 92, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Born November 27, 1929 — Died March 19, 2022 Beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of immigrant Jewish parents Aaron and Bessie Toll from a small village near Kiev. Married Sidney Brandt and had 3 children. Divorced from Sidney and later married Joseph Goldberg. Eleanor grew up in Philadelphia, and lived in Reading Pennsylvania, Long Island New York, Los Angeles, and Fort Lauderdale. She was an avid world traveler, often sharing adventures with her children and grandchildren. Eleanor was a kind soul, a devoted mother and friend, loved by many, generous, warm and witty. She worked as a legal secretary. She supported many charities. She was a Candy-striper, volunteering in a local hospital. She gave of her time as a reading coach for elementary school children in Los Angeles, and read to the blind. Survived by sister Isabel, sons Larry and David, daughter Linda, grandchildren Rachel, Aaron, Marla and Jared, and great grandchildren Dylan and Jackson.
