9 de abril de 1945 - 24 de junio de 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nini Sugarman, daughter of the late Dorothy and Max Sinukoff. She is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle, and many loving family members. She was pre-deceased by her sweet, caring, witty and wise husband, Larry, and her devoted sisters, Sylvia and Brenda. She was born in Toronto, Canada, on April 9, 1945 and died at home in Northridge, CA, on June 24, 2022 at the age of 77. Nini was beautiful inside and out and shined a bright light on our world. She will be remembered for her vibrant, fun personality, her magnetic smile, her dedication to loved ones, her compassion to strangers, and her inspiration to the thousands of college students whose lives she influenced. Her light will continue to shine on all of us. She will be greatly missed but her love will remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center (https://www.cityofhope.org/locations/duarte-main-campus) or to Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission - Trebek Center (https://www.hopeofthevalley.org/trebekcenter/).

My friend Nini was always by my side, she was my rock. A friend who gave and gave from her heart. I admired her intelligence, kindness, sense of humor, devotion to her daughter and tremendous love for her family and friends, and on and on. When I have to make a decision now, I think \"what would Nini advise me to do\". We had many, many good times out and about as well as marathon conversations on her back patio; memories I will cherish forever. Nini is no longer fighting the demon, and boy what a brave battle she fought. God now has a true angel. I love you too much, Nini.
