Carol L Tauber

Carol Lee Tauber was born to Estelle and David Abrams in New York in 1941, and two years later her brother Richard was born. The family moved to California when Carol was four and she grew up in Burbank and North Hollywood. She attended North Hollywood High School which she especially loved, and UCLA. She married Stanley Tauber and had two daughters, Dana and Ellen. Carol always said that raising her girls was one of her happiest times. She later met her lifelong partner Demetri Zafiris and they shared many adventures. Carol adored her grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, Zachary and Sophia. Carol had a big spirit, really loved people, and always had a smile and a big hug for everyone. She was outgoing, kind, and warm hearted. Carol enjoyed traveling, reading, and attending theater. She loved her many many friends and enjoyed doing activities with them – Havurah, Trail Dusters Square Dancing, Mah Jongg, pan groups, book clubs, movie clubs, legal puzzlers, speakers series and other learning groups, Hadassah and Wanderettes. She was cherished by everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
