Robert A. Weisberg

Robert Alan Weisberg (Bob) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on November 30, 2021. He was 88 years young, two weeks before his 89th birthday. Bob was happily married to the love of his life, Charlotte Weisberg for over 60 years. Retired since 1992, Bob and his loving wife lived a fulfilling and wonderful life. They traveled extensively and enjoyed entertaining, going to plays, musicals, and movies. He was a very social person who loved to spend time with family and friends. One of his favorite past times for many years was playing golf. He and Charlotte were excellent chefs, and many a warm family event was capped off with the Weisberg famous Shrimp Risotto, or Paella, to name a few. In recent years, Bob loved to spend time playing his classic 1902 Steinway baby grand piano and played until a few weeks before his passing. Bob also enjoyed playing poker and bridge with his friends. Bob had an extremely successful business career. As a young engineer, he worked at Boeing aircraft. After a brief return to New York, Bob ventured out to California, where at Southwestern Engineering he moved up the executive ranks to become the CEO, a position he held for many years before his retirement. Bob graduated from Brooklyn Polytech College in New York, with a degree in mechanical engineering. Bob is survived by his two loving children, Bruce Weisberg (and wife Wendy), and Nancy Berman (and husband Jeff). In addition, Bob had two loving granddaughters, Sammie Berman (and husband Josh Model) and Kellie Berman (and fiancée Hans Sardo), and a recent great grandson, Dylan Model.
