Robin Sales

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Sales (a long-time resident of Reseda, CA who recently moved to Thousand Oaks, CA) on Saturday, 02/11/2023, due to natural causes at the age of 70. Robin was born in Newburgh, NY in 1952 to Ted and Miriam Fleser and the family moved to California when she was 18 months old. After graduating from Reseda High School and attending Los Angeles Pierce College, she passed the California Nursing State Boards to become a Registered Nurse and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Health Science. Robin went on to work as a Credentialed School Nurse for the Los Angeles Unified School District for more than 35 years until her retirement in 2014. Robin loved spending time with her family and was overjoyed at the birth of her only grandson in 2019. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and was a tireless advocate for organ donation, having been the recipient of an organ donation herself. Most of her free time was spent volunteering with various charitable organizations including Jewish War Veterans, Donate Life, and OneLegacy. Robin was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Miriam Fleser, and nephew, Steven Seery. She is survived by her daughter, Melody Vazquez; son in law, Albert Vazquez; grandson, Albert Vazquez Jr.; sister Holly Seery and her significant other, Frank Lewin; sister April Bender Comer and her husband, Mark Comer; niece, Jennifer Seery; and nephews, David Seery, Evan Bender, Michael Bender, and Scott Bender. Services will be held at Mount Sinai Simi Valley on Thursday, 02/16/2023 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to OneLegacy, an organization Robin felt strongly about
